Harvest 2010
Weather conditions 2010
Overall, 2010 was a good growing year.
The long, wet winter was followed by snow at lower altitudes in March and these conditions combined to ensure a good build-up of water deposits. The fine, hot summer weather allowed the grapes to mature to a good, healthy condition. Several days of rain at the beginning of September restored the vines' strength.
The period 10 September until mid-October enjoyed warm, sunny days with temperatures that dropped by as much as 10 degrees overnight.
