Weather conditions 2014

Winter 2014 was mild with an average temperature between 8°C and 14°C, while during springtime the average temperature was between 16°C and 20°C with heavy rain till the end of May.
June and July average temperature increased between 23°C and 29°C with alternation of sunny days and rainy ones (8/9 days per month). August wasn’t particularly warm: temperature never exceeded 30°C.
From the beginning of September till the harvest time (end of October), temperature was about 23°C/25°C. This allowed us to draw out the best of a difficult season concerning the weather.
The Harvest was very hard and we had to take care a lot of the vineyard (defoliation, selection of the best bunches on the plant) in order to get the best of production in terms of quality.
We can say that the result has been really flawless! Wines of the vintage 2014 are amazingly interesting ones!
